This simple, no-fuss method shows you how to create crispy, golden fried chicken strips, packed with bold flavour using Bangin Spice Mix Southern Fried Chicken for that classic, irresistible crunch.
Cut 2 chicken breasts into even strips.
In a bowl, make a slurry by mixing 40g of powder with 60ml of water until smooth.
Add the chicken strips to the slurry, ensuring they are fully coated. Marinate for at least 10 minutes, or for deeper flavour, leave overnight in the refrigerator.
Pour additional powder onto a flat plate. Press each strip into the dry coating, ensuring an even cover. Set aside for 5 minutes, then coat once more for an extra crispy finish.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the strips in batches, taking care not to overcrowd the pan. Cook until golden, crispy and cooked through.
Ensure the chicken is fully cooked and piping hot before serving.
